How to unblock Patreon auto-payments?

Paypal mysteriously blocked the auto-payments that were being made to Patreon, and when I try clicking on the Block button to unblock them, I get "unexpected error" messages. Paypal's "Help" system has no option for customer support for site software errors. How can I get this problem resolved? Thanks.

I don't even know where there is a block button. Only to cancel an Active auto-payments. Once an auto-payment is canceled, you'll have to go to your Patreon account to re-link your PayPal account to make auto payments again or make another payment and it'll take you through the enabling of auto-payment process again.

Go to Settings, Payments, and Manage Automatic Payments.

If you have automatic payments set up, they will be listed at the left of the page. For me, one of the merchants is Patreon.

Click on the merchant you want to check, and it should show "Active" and "Payment Method."

For me, Payment Method is "Blocked". I don't know why it became blocked, and I don't know how to unblock it.
