As a private individual who only sells on ebay as a hobby, can I sign up for micropayments?

Thanks. Sorry but can I just clarify the following if anyone knows. 1. When I go to sign up it asks for a bank statement. Do I have to supply one? 2. If I happen to make more than the $12 threshold on an item, how is this processed? 3. Sometimes a family member might send me some money more than $12. Is this still possible and fee free?

To follow-up on your questions @inglenook_books:

1. Any verification documents requested would need to be provided as usual.

2. If you are approved for Micropayment pricing, all transactions that are subject to fees would be subject to that new fee structure.

3. Sending friends and family payments are subject to country availability, but if they are available in the country being sent to / from, then those applicable payments would still be fee free.
