Paid someone who didn't have a paypal account.

Through a different website (splitwise) I paid a friend through paypal.  However, turns out she doesn't have paypal.  This means the money has come out of my account but as she doesn't have a paypal it hasn't gone anywhere. Is there a way to get this money back?

What does it say next to the transaction in your Paypal account?

1. Pending / Unclaimed.
2. Pending / Unclaimed with a cancel option.
3. Completed / Sent.
4. Pending / Uncleared.
5. Pending awaiting authorisation.
