PayPal me unexpected fees

I want to send with PayPal.me to <removed> but it shows a £0.99 fee on all of my payment methods? Why will it cost a fee? I thought that PayPal.me does not charge fees

Paypal deducts to when someone will send you a payment, and also the seller. maybe because you're using their platform.

But what bugs me the most is the INSANE AMOUNT they charge,even when you're just sending your funds to your bank.

In my case it's a staggering 35USD fee.

Why I ask people if they accept Bitcoin... I just tried to pay someone else on PayPal Me 99p fee again for any payment method. This is meant to be a free service selected Friends & Family!!!

It's a joke. £0.99 is nearly a 20% fee on me trying to send £5. What planet are PayPal living on?

Its only free if you are funding the payment from a linked bank account OR funds in your paypal balance.

If you use a card then you pay the card issuers fee.

I am using a linked bank account alas it still shows fees. I have never had this issue before with PayPal and day after day the experience gets worse. As a seller and as a buyer. 😤😓

Mine's linked too, and asked the bank why Paypal charges so much. welp, they just told me it's Paypal's problem not theirs. I contacted paypal support, nothing, no response.

Better start receiving payment somewhere else if this keeps up.
