I am having trouble paying for a flight with Ryanair. I have been unable to use a credit card directly through their website, so I tried using Paypal. I had previously purchased flights from them using Paypal without any problems. The payment didn't go through on the ryan air site, so tried different browsers/computers with no luck. Later I saw 5 pending payments on my paypal site saying they are under review as it looked as though I was purchasing prhibited items according to the US govt.??? I had my paypal account restricted until I answered their questions, one as to what I was trying to purchase and 2 times I was asked for my husbands birthdate (who will be travelling with me as with the previous flight purchases). My account is no longer frozen and 4 of the transactions were reversed. The 5th one is still pending, no booking on Ryanair shows up and according to paypal I cannot attempt another payment until this is resolved. It has now been 2 days. I will try and contact Ryanair in the morning if no luck overnight. Has anyone else had difficulty paying for flights/ryanair??? It has been very frustrating and now may lose out on their black friday prices! I have made purchases from Ryanair before and they have registered with paypal to receive payments. Paypal will not respond to my question as to why the issue.
