First of all, sorry if there's something obvious I'm missing, since I haven't used this before. I just opened this account within the past month and was looking to purchase a used item from Guitar Center. This is my first "transaction" using PayPal. The first time I tried placing the order on their site, I was emailed by PayPal that something went wrong with the payment and said I could retry the payment. I tried again and it "worked", then PayPal emailed me that I submitted an order for the item I was purchasing and gave me the transaction ID and other transaction details. That was on Aug 21, at least 5 business days ago, and I haven't been emailed by either Guitar Center or PayPal about any updates about the item. At this point, I just want to cancel my order. I don't have anything showing up in Orders and Tracking on Guitar Center's site, and the used item I placed an order for is not on the site anymore. I haven't had any funds removed from my preferred payment method, and the order still says it's pending in my Activity page. Does this mean that somebody else may have already placed an order before me, and if so, why hasn't Guitar Center let me know that the product is no longer available? Should I wait until the end of the week? Maybe they're just taking longer than usual, but I feel like they should at least be letting me know about the status of the item or purchase. Would I still be able to cancel the order some other way, or will I have to wait 30 days until the pending status times out or until Guitar Center cancels it?
