How do you stop ebay instantly taking payment from paypal ?

I've done the cog wheel cancel payment thing, they are all classed as inactive - yet ebay still takes instant payment when you click on purchase.

so how do you stop this and make it ask for a paypal login?

thanks

Stay logged in for faster purchases

Auto login is turned off for all devices.

ok did a bit of digging about on Ebay which I don't use very much at all.

Try this..........

Click on to your 'my ebay' > select the account option (just below your username) > click on personal information from the list on the left > scroll down to financial information > there you will see saved checkout payment methods? If so is there an option to turn it off on your account?
