Hello.
Im trying to subscribe on twitch whit my paypal balance that is over the required amount. Its askin to add a card, but i dont have a card yet so i have just used Top Up to add money on my paypal. I changed my payment preferences to where its suppose to use my paypal balance first when buying online but its just asking for a card. Idk how to fix it or if its its just something it does.
Help me out here. Thanks

You can use funds in your paypal balance 'as long as' they are in the correct currency and not pending.
BUT for some transactions ie digital / virtual or higher risk and at 'some point' anyway Paypal will ask you to add a card to act as a back up funding source and to verify your Paypal account.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

It is asking for a card as a backup payment method. If there is a "Change" link that will allow you to select your bank account, go ahead and click it, otherwise you'll need to add a card. If you have funds in your PayPal Balance, PayPal will use it but it appears that PayPal checkout is now being integrated in such a way on these online merchants that you'll need to add a card. Get a prepaid card, register it and link it.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
