What to do if i do not possess a Phone number from Hong Kong?

Hello,

I am asked to fill in a Hong Kong phone number for verification when making a transfer to another Paypal account, even tho i filled in a Dutch (Netherlands) number when creating the account. How do i proceed?

I will be the only one accountable for this Businesses PayPal account. There is no Hong kong Phone number that i can use at the moment.

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You should really withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts / cancel any subscriptions and close the old Paypal account before you move countries. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved and may need to contact customer services for help to resolve things.

We recently moved the company from NL to HK. I take care of the Paypal since that is my task within the company, but i do not own a HK Number.

This is inaccurate. It is certainly true that having 2 business accounts on the same business is not allowed but that is not the case at the moment. The old Paypal account is still registed on my business (wich also owned the webshop that this paypal is used for) and has been changed to me being a consultancy company. the New paypal in Hong kong (This one) is now the new owner of the webshop and is registered under a different business name.

As the Consultant of the company in Hong Kong i have been given the task to take care of the Paypal. I will remain in NL and not move to Hong Kong at all.

If you have created a PayPal account in Hong Kong, you will be required to add a Hong Kong phone number.
