subway app charged but didnt place order

This morning i ordered through the subway app when hit "place order" got an error" message. Tried this 2-3 times. Minutes later received an email with 2 subway paypal receipts for the same order. Went to subway and they told me they didnt receive my order/orders. Checked app order history and sure enough it wasnt ordered just charged to my paypal mastercard. Now im left with subway telling me the order wasnt placed and me filing a dispute with paypal on both receipts for the same order. ANyone had this happen. It would seem to be an apps fault. Giving me the error message multiple times then charging me without actually logging or sending the mobile order to my local subway. thanks

Did you find a resolution to this problem? I had the exact same thing happen to me a few days ago. Sent an email to support but have not yet heard back.

Subways support didn't help much but over the phone PayPal helped me file a dispute. I believe I opened one manually over PayPal website for item not received stating the app crashed charging me. Subway told me something about it already being charged thru PayPal an there not being an order on the Subway end just a PayPal receipt to the Subway merchant. Did take a few weeks to receive my dispute refund for item not received stating it didn't place the actual order after crashing but charged me and had the PayPal receipts to file a claim or dispute but did it over the phone with PayPal return call service I believe. Thanks in the end it worked out but took months.
