Duplicate Pay in 3 payment

I've just bought an item with pay in 3, and now there are 2 pending transactions which are identical except for the transaction id, instead of a single transaction. What do I do to avoid being charged double?

Welcome to the community and thank you for your post!

I do understand your concern. When you make a transaction using Pay in 3/4, a temporary charge can be placed on your account. This is called an authorization charge. 

This charge will be released back into your account within 72 hours. Once this is done, you will only be charged for one of the transactions. This is normal practice for online payments, so no need to be worried if this happens again.
