How do I get a return label if the seller is not willing to send me one?

Hi,

I purchased a fragrance lamp from a seller on PayPal. However, when I put a fragrant oil in the glass cup and put the lamp on,there was absolutely no scent that anyone could smell when they came into my house. I have two other lamps that are fragrant lamps and they really make the house smell good,so when I gave the seller my review, I gave him a 5 star and I should not have as it was not his lamp that I was smelling when I gave him my 5 star review,it was my other lamps that I was smelling. I wanted to change my review, but did not know how,so the 5 star is still on his site and I would really like to change it. This seller is NOT willing to work with me at all on this issue,he will not send me a return label so I can send it back, because it does not do what it is supposed to do,and that is,make the oil in the cup send a scent through the house. He keeps telling me I had 30 days to return it,and now he's saying it's been over 7 weeks, well,I guess so,I've been going back and forth with emails for the past 2-3 weeks trying to get him to work with me on this. I was sent an email message from PayPal telling me to return the item and they would refund me. So,here is my problem, I need a return label and the seller will NOT send me one,so how do I get a return label if the seller won't send one?

Could someone please tell me how I can get a return label when the seller is not willing to work with me,and send one to me? I would truly appreciate it. Thanks, Faith

Well no one can force him to accept a return.

Paypal covers you for 'item received but not as described' so you could open a paypal dispute if you want to by clicking on the transaction in your account and using the resolve a problem link bottom of that details page.

HOWEVER you may not win as the item has to be ''significantly other than described'' ie (completely different to the item sent), paypal does not get involved in quality issues.

Also if and only if you win you would have to return the item back to the seller at your own expense, trackable to prove delivery before getting a refund of the initial payment (and not return costs).
