I do understand your concern. When using PayPal Credit, your owed balance will show in your PayPal Credit account. Then you can make a payment towards the balance shown. PayPal will automatically send you monthly reminders to notify you of when your payment is due.
You can make a single payment from your bank account, debit card or PayPal balance at any time, online by logging into your account and clicking Make a Payment.
You can also set up a direct debit if you have a bank account linked to your PayPal account. Simply follow the steps here.
