Not able to avail Spotify premium 3-month free trial using Paypal

While following the described steps on both Spotify & Paypal offers page for 3-month free Spotify premium trial, a charge of $10.50 (monthly subscription amount) was seen on the payments page of Paypal. Has anyone faced same problem? How to avail this promotional benefit?

Hi Guys, I signed up to get the Spotify Offer but it doesnt work, I tweeted it now tagging them

So annoying and it says valid until Feb 2023 - feel a bit miffed now
