Pay Monthly Option Gone!

I applied for PayPal's pay monthly and got an approval, however, I wanted to check to see if I could get approved for a higher amount, so I applied again a couple time each time increasing the amount I was spending. The last time it declined me and gave the reason "unusual activity" on your account. Now, the option for pay monthly won't even show up anymore. What's the deal? How do I get the option back? I called PayPal directly and they said they have no control over it. I just wait?

I have come about this dilemma in the exact same scenario I wish it was still there it would have saved my life. I even screenshotted my approval. I wanted to check other more expensive ebike choices and now it will not even appear as an option. 😞

I would give it a week or two. Happened to me too and didn’t have the option for 1 week and after that it came back for me.

Same thing happened to me, not sure what to do, i tried logging out and back in, still nothing, all options are gone except my debit card, not even my bank is an option

Pay monthly applications are accessed based on several factors such as the information you provide in your application, your credit score, your transaction history with PayPal, and how long you've had a PayPal account. Pay monthly feature is not available for certain merchants and goods. We may also decide not to offer Pay monthly feature as an option based on our internal checks. Please remember that, you may be eligible in the future and are able to checkout using another form of payment.

This is the same answer I get from crappy PayPal customer service. Why if I was approved should I have to use another form of payment? I was approved and to no fault of my own it was deemed suspicious and bow I have no option for PayPal monthly even though I was approved. Kinda frustrating to hear the same thing and never get any real help from someone.

That seems like a very low-effort blanket response. I'm getting tired of PayPal and their questionable business model.
