Pay in 4 Payment Pending Despite Transaction not being completed

I was trying to use Pay in 4 to purchase something, but the transaction did not go through on the merchant's side. The transaction has been pending for a few days now, so I was wondering if there was a specific amount of time I have to wait for the charge to be dropped, or if there's something I have to do on my end. The activity tab on the website says: "This is a temporary authorization to make sure your payment method will cover the payment. Your payment method will be charged when GameStop Corporation completes your order."

When you pay a company then it is often pending or awaiting authorisation until that company processes your order and captures the pending payment.

If they don't process the order and capture that payment then the pending status times out at 30 days post-payment and returns back to your funding source.
