Pay in 4 pending transaction?

I bought a pre order item on Playasia I made selected the pay in 4 method on check out, the order went through on Playasia but the transaction didn’t go through cause they are asking me to them. I looked on my PayPal account it tells me the charge is pending , has anyone else experienced this with pay in 4?

Thank you for making your first post in the PayPal Community Forum! I'm sorry to hear that there's any confusion with a recent order and its status. I'm sure that's frustrating!

When you place an order with a merchant who uses authorizations, the funds will be pending until the merchant captures them or until it expires. Most merchants capture the payment within a few days. If the pending funds remain uncaptured for 30 days, they will be released.
