Paypal Credit account closed (synchrony issue)

Hi there, i have been using PayPal credit for years without issue. A few months ago, Chase Bank (for some lord knows reason) blocked a payment to my Amazon credit card (also controlled by Synchrony). I immediately paid down the account yet Amazon/Synchrony closed the account.

now my Paypal credit account is closed as well because I am assuming Synchrony blocked me across all platforms.

has anyone been able to reach someone at Synchrony or able to get an account opened up again? i have zero balances.

frustrating because of a Chase error, I can never have credit again with Paypal?

My wife just had a similar problem.  She switched bank accounts for autopay and it worked the first month.  The second month autopay failed, so we made a payment on their website with the same account info and that worked.  Next month autopay failed again so we made another payment with the same account and that worked.  Now they closed her account, and say that it is our problem and there is no way they can reopen the account.  We are in dispute.  This is troubling.

I too have be frustrated with this system. Nothing in PayPal's 'contact us' system seem to work. "message us' is a joke, "call us' is just about as bad unless you want to talk with someone from India. I spent50+ years as a programmer/systems analyst creating and updating systems for banks, insurance companies and working with large finicial transactions. If I had created a system such as this I would have been fired on the spot. Very, ver poor programming. I wonder if they even test anything befor the release it.
