Pending Transactions

I've paid for many items using Pay In 3, and have never had any issues before, always paid them every month.

 

I've also purchased many items from the same website. Again, without any issues. This time however, using Pay In 3 I was met with a Pending Transaction, which I have never had before.

 

I thought something was strange when I didn't receive an automated email from the website about my order, nor did I receive an email from PayPal about the transaction. So I knew something was wrong.

 

I checked my payment history on PayPal, and the transaction was there, but it's shown as pending, and has been pending for well over an hour. The website always, ALWAYS takes payment immediately, and shows up in PayPal as successful and I receive the email about the order.

 

I've tried using the PayPal Assistant, but it's about as useful as a chocolate teapot, and I've DM'd them on **bleep** but Lord only knows if they'll even respond and the Resolution Centre is so helpful that it cannot help with this kind of transaction. Great.

 

Furthermore, the transactions is currently pending in my bank account, meaning that the order MUST have gone through, and PayPal will debit my account, so my money is ready to be taken, but PayPal is refusing to complete my transaction with this website.

 

I cannot cancel the transaction either, and I have no idea if or when the website is gonna get my payment. Not only that, but because of this, I'm not longer to receive my order tomorrow, which WOULD have happened if my payment went through right away like it always does, as I paid for Next Day Shipping as well. Thanks PayPal.

 

Anyone have any ideas WHY I've suddenly had a pending transaction?  And how long does it usually take to FINISH pending??

Hi 

 

I had the same issue with two same transactions on the 22nd of August 2022. 

The transactions are shown in my bank account as well as in the PayPal pay in three activity, both as pending.

It is not an approved plan or a completed one.

I DM them and wait for their  reply.

There is an answer in the help topics that these matters could get resolved within 24 hrs. and PayPal will set the transactions void  meaning they will refund the money.

We'll see
