It was recommended to me on a call w/PayPal to use Virtual Terminal for entering in manually vs. Zettle.  While that may not always be an option for you, it is a little lower of a % charge.  Who doesn't like to save money? 🙂

While the transaction fee for keyed in transactions is a bit more for Zettle compared to Virtual Terminal (3.49% + 0.09 USD versus 3.09% + fixed fee, see https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/merchant-fees for more information on fees), there is a $30 per month charge to use Virtual Terminal (https://www.paypal.com/us/smarthelp/article/faq3326), but there is no monthly charge for PayPal Zettle (https://www.paypal.com/us/smarthelp/article/faq4506).
