Bill Pay Con Edison doesn't work?

Does Bill Pay work for Con Edison Utility company? I can add the biller and account number, but it doesn't work for me for both commercial and residential accounts. I've seen reddit posts that people say it works but from half a year ago. Maybe it recently stopped? If anyone uses it please let me know.

I understand you're unable to use PayPal Bill Pay for your utility company, and I'm sorry to hear that. We don't have a list of what companies are compatible, but if you've heard they are, then that leads me to believe that you might be encountering a payment decline. I recommend reviewing this Help Center article for some troubleshooting steps. If the payment still doesn't go through, please do not hesitate to reach out to Customer Support.

I've been having the same issue for a few months now. It is definitely not a payment decline -- I don't even get to the point where I select a card. I enter the amount I'd like to pay, and then I get an error saying "Something went wrong". Normally, this would be where I select when to pay and which card to use. I called customer service and got bounded around a bit, but nobody was able to resolve the issue. Tried on multiple browsers & devices, and other bills are working just fine, so I believe it's something specific to the ConEd biller on PayPal Bill Pay. If anyone has any tips, I'd really appreciate it!
