Constant Reward Points Emails Being Recieved

Greetings all.

I am getting multiple emails, sometimes multiple per day, from PayPal with the subject 'You have 5 PayPal Reward points ready to redeem'. I have all notifications off in my settings. I have checked this multiple times and nothing is set to email me.

There has been going on for a couple weeks now and I would like to mark it as spam but still want to receive my other PayPal emails. Below is an example of what I woke up to this morning, which has become pretty normal. Please advise.

Yeah, I have done all that, contact PayPal support and still the same email comes. I am not sure what do to at this point as no one can seem to fix it. The latest is I now have to wait 10 days to see if the latest 'fix' will stop these emails. In the meantime they still are coming.

Hi @PayPal_Ayesha I am having the same issue as @admirito and there is no option under "unsubscribe" for these specific emails. I am getting multiple emails a day and I'm reading to switch to some other useless tech bro's early aughts money app. I can't imagine a more efficient way to make people hate these useless points systems then sending all these annoying emails.

Yeah, it is crazy - I have had countless email conversations with support reps who keep telling me it is fixed and then the deluge of emails continue. When I report this back to PayPal they just tell me that I need to give it X number of days to 'take effect'. Of course this never really changes anything.

Hoping someone can solve this and stop the unwanted emails every time I earn some useless PayPal points.

I'm also having this problem of receiving separate emails about rewards points every time I make a purchase (in addition to the email regarding the purchase). Their customer support is useless - in their chat box, I got a message to try again during business hours when I messaged them during their posted business hours. Then I called their phone line and it asked me to enter a unique code that they never sent me.  My solution if you're using gmail: create a filter, under subject choose "PayPal Rewards," and then click "delete."  These emails will then go straight to the trash, where they belong.

Yeah, in the end I just made a new filter and send these messages to spam.

After countless emails and phone calls no one fixed anything. Pretty disappointing imo.

I am so tired of these emails. Every time I make a purchase or something is charged "you have 5 paypal rewards points!!!!!" I never signed up for paypal rewards, I hate rewards systems because they're always stealing data and being creepy, and now I'm angry I get so much spam from them. I can't even mark them as spam in my inbox because they come from the same email as regular support. I have contacted customer support about it and they just lied that it was turned off and I keep getting these worthless emails. FIX IT PAYPAL.

I am getting these super-annoying emails as well- 2 for every transaction.  Woo hoo- I'm up to $.39.  Thank goodness for that email notification.

There does not seem to be any way to turn them off under Notifications.  I created a Gmail filter to send them right to trash.  Why won't PayPal give us the option to turn them off instead?
