Welcome! Thanks for joining the PayPal Community Forum. This is a great question. If you were to fund an In-Store purchase with your PayPal Debit Card, it would charge to your PayPal Balance or the bank account you've selected as your back-up funding source. If you want to have the In-Store purchase charged to your gift card, I'd recommend presenting that physical card in-store.
