Pay 4 or Pay monthly not showing

Why won't the pay 4 or pay monthly show up in my account when the merchants I use and have used in the past have accepted it? I've been on numerous merchants websites that show the option under the item but when you go to checkout the option is not there.

Not guaranteed to be offered just because you have used it before, you have to wait until it is offered.

As its a short term loan that a lot of folks use I can there is a finite amount of times they can offer it at the same time.

Im having the same issue.. I called, emailed, chatted and Paypal still wont fix the problem. I thought I had a fradulent charge on my 4 pay so I called them, big mistake, it was literally me and I figured it out after that I did make that purchase, they put my account in review and than dropped it after 10 days after I told them I was me, but they still had to keep it on there for the full 10 days. And its been well over the 10 days, review is off, and pay in 4 will NOT show up on any website I used in the past. They wont listen to me and all I get is a scripted line every time I make contact, instead of fixing it, they just wont listen. I am ready to just close my paypal out and never use it anymore. Its beyond frustrating when they wont help you with it when you explain over and over and get the same resolution, nothing!!!

It'll come back eventually, you just gotta be patient.

I've only had the chance to use it once. I bought something a few weeks ago and when I chose PayPal I didn't get the option to Pay in 4.

Sorry to hear that you're not getting the Pay in 4 option for your payments. Pay in 4 option is not available for all goods and services. If the transaction is eligible, you can see the option at the time of checkout. Pay in 4 eligibility also varies by merchant and individual shopping experience. No worries, you may be eligible in the future. You can try to complete the checkout using another form of payment.

Has anyone got the pay monthly option back eventual after say a week or a month?

I was using the option over and over to add up what the best monthly payment l I could get with the items in my cart and after a while I got denied the application with this message "Number of recent applications submitted." All I was doing is like the following:

$1600,00 in my cart - monthly payment $90.00 per month

Well OK that may be too much so what about having $1500.00 in my cart -  monthly $80.00 per month.

and so on. If anyone is ready this do note attempt to do haggling with this option for more than a couple of times.

I was doing the *exact* same thing and it disappeared and I got a message in the message center. How long until it was available to you again?

Same thing happened to me did you ever get it back?
