Pay in 4 saying 'incorrect billing address' even if correct on bank statement and PayPal account

Hi there,

  • Issue applies to PAY IN 4 option only
  • Pay in 4 plan gets approved, but fails as system claims it can't 'find billing address'
  • Billing address for card MATCHES credit card statement address
  • Payin4 doesn't SAVE address, rather transaction fails.
  • You can only pay in full, but that's not the desired outcome.
  • This has gone on for TWO WEEKS. Still no resolution.
  • PayPal say 'engineers are working on it'.. Two weeks? whoah!

Just an FYI for all the other sufferers from the Payin4/Paypal con:

  • I paid off my Payin4 plans and REMOVED both payment methods
  • I added BOTH payment methods and 'home address' against my BANK statement address
  • BOTH addresses MATCHED what was on PayPal!!!
  • Payin4 STILL has 'cannot find address' problem on checkout
  • FIX THE PROBLEM PAYPAL THIS IS BEYOND PATHETIC IT's CRIMINAL RUSSIAN-HACKED STANDARD CRAP TECH!!

Thank you, you stupid A.I bot. Have you even read the theead. I called customer support TWICE! I posted on here because stupid customer support would not give me an ETA for a fix. THERE IS A PROBLEM AND IT IS WITH PAYPAL. Every single item I have tried is 'Payin4' enabled. Now ppease fix the problem on your platform. You can see this problem is not just happening to me, but to mant other users. Some people were provided with a workaround, but it still didnt work. Read my f$cking previpus ppst and dont be some patronising and HELP THE F$CK1NG CUSTOMER AND STOP.WITH THE DEFLECTIONS AND LIES!!

and what have you done to resolve it? Did you get any meaningful assistance from PayPal. they still haven't fixed mine, nor given me an ETA for a fix!! Very frustrating when trying to order stuff for overseas. I switch to 'AfterPay' for Aussie sales. Maybe this is part of the TRUMP/MUSK TARRIF INSANITY AND INCOMPETENCE?

I am having the same issue and was told it is a technical error on their end. But when you go to pay as per normal the details are fine. 

What is even more strange is PayPal has released a promotion to win up to $400 till the 9th of December for using PayPal Pay in 4 option and it does not even work. What is the point of having the promotion if they are having 'technical difficulties'.

Watch it magically start working as per normal after the 9th of December.

OK Ive had enough of this PayPal, I just tried purchasing from a store I have been buying stuff from for all of this year using your pay in four and your stupid error came up. Lucky enough for me they use Afterpay. So long incompetence.

AfterPay only works for Aussie services, most of the services I used are based on Shopify, which does not have AfterPay. So PayPal has the monopoly, but will not provide the service. HOW GOOD IS STEROID CAPITALISM AND TRUMPIAN TECHNO-FEUDALISM!! ???? WHERE ARE THE CONSUMER RIGHTS??? OR AT THE LEAST,'SERVICE' AND THESE 'THINGS' GO ON ABOUT COMMUNISM BEING CRAP!
