Profile Image and Logo size

I'm disappointed that such a simple question is still being asked and NONE of the responses have worked. What are the correct pixels or inches for the logo image and background image for the profile. The images is blurred/stretched and very unprofessional looking. I have a Mac and modified the images with Photoshop several time based on previous answers and nothing works. I don't want to use a blank background. Any additional suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Requirements: File must be no larger than 50kb. Preferred pixel size for banner 750px by 90px. Preferred pixel size for logo 190px by 60px
