The Pay later button is there to use, I click it and it beings me to Paypal but no Pay Later option

The Pay later button is there to use on the merchant site but I click it and it brings me to the Paypal window to pay and no Pay Later option is actually there to use, is this a glitch or normal?

I'm sorry to hear that the Pay Later options are not showing after you try to check out with a merchant. If you see the Pay Later button on a merchant's website, that means that they accept at least one of the Pay Later options, like PayPal Credit and Pay in 4. If you don't see those options when checking out, that could mean a couple of different things. First, I recommend clearing your cache and cookies to help ensure the page is loading correctly.
Have you been approved for one of the options before? If not, you can review and learn how to apply through one of the Help Center articles here: PayPal Credit, Pay in 4, Pay Monthly. If you have been approved and they're not showing up, that could mean that our Security System is not allowing them as a payment method right now. Depending on the risk associated with a transaction, our Security System can limit what payment methods are available. To help with this, I recommend logging in from one consistent device with your location services turned on and ensuring you have a strong internet connection.
If the option still isn't showing, there could be an issue with the merchant's coding for the button also. They would need to reach out to PayPal Support for help, but most commonly, it's an issue with the website connection or our Security System.
I hope you've been able to use a Pay Later option already, but if not, that you can now!

Thanks for getting back to me. No I have never been approved for it as the button is never there. Do I need to apply somewhere on the site? I read the article but I see no where to apply to be able to use the Pay in 4. That is what I been wanting to try.

Thanks for reaching back out again!
I apologize; I did not realize at first that your Community Profile shows you have a PayPal Business account. Pay in 4 and other Pay Later options are not available for business accounts. If you do not use your account for a business, you could downgrade your account by reaching out to Customer Support. However, if you do have a registered business, you are also allowed to have a personal account. You'd just need to create it with a different email address.
