Well, I had explained everything in detail in this box, but then paypal made me go back and fill in fields that it wanted filled in and DROPPED ALL MY TEXT!!!!! So thanks for that. And now some squirrely red text is hidden from me altogether, but is doubtless preventing me posting this. SOOOOO unhelpful. Turns out this is the message (I could copy it and paste it here) : Message subject cannot exceed 100 characters. Note no mention of how many characters the headline is over the 100. paypal expects me to count. OK. Here goes 1,2 .... 103, with spaces. Does it counts spaces? Of course it doesn't say. Seems like it does cos although I counted all the characters it is still too long. This is like something out of Catch 22. Editing. Again. NOW it needs a label. I can think of one which would be more appropriate than the one I've given it, but no matter.
I am going to go and take some deep, calming breaths now.
What a waste of my time.
