Warning for Nonprofits - Zettle does not comply with Federal tax receipt regulations

We're a nonprofit that previously used PayPal Here to accept donations at our annual fundraiser.  This year, after PayPal discontinued PayPal Here, we switched to PayPal's new POS solution, Zettle.  Unfortunately, we noticed after the event that, unlike PayPal Here, Zettle does not capture ANY donor information in the transaction, meaning there is no way of providing a tax receipt to the donor.  After contacting customer support, this is a known feature and there is absolutely no way to get the donor/customer name.  The only information stored in the transaction is the last four digits of the credit card.

This is just a heads-up to any nonprofit considering using Zettle to replace PayPal Here.
