Why my clients cannot purchase with Pay in 3?

I've been offered Pay in 3 by Paypal, and we used it for months, as far as I know, it was working ok. From time to time we'v got an order that said "pay later" or something like that (I'm spanish, and receive all messages in spanish).

But yesterday, a client tried to purchase one of our online courses (price: 136€) and it lead to an error. One of my workers tried and error again. What can be happening??

The client had just opened a paypal account, but my worker had a paypal account for years.

THE ERROR: paypal page starts loading but never fully loads, and then we got a message: "Something went wrong. Try another way". When he chose to pay in one payment, the classic way, there was no problem, page loaded and payment could be completed.

Any tips or insights? Thank you!

Hello @DianaPMF

Welcome to the PayPal Community!

I'm sorry to hear your client and employee were unable to use Pay in 3 for a recent purchase. If the option to use Pay in 3 is not available for the buyer, this wouldn't be a result of anything on your side. Once you've enabled the option to accept Pay Later options, like Pay in 3, you don't need to do anything else. Based on the error message they received, they were most likely not eligible to use the option for their purchase, and it was declined. They'd need to reach out to Customer Support for more information. They can find the options to contact Customer Support by selecting 'Contact' at the bottom of any PayPal website.

I hope this helps!
