Long story short
I stream for a living, and when I go live I have a splash screen related to what the game/event I'll be doing that night.
In June 2015, I hired an artist to draw a pool party to use for my "Party Games" nights. After the success of the first night, viewers wanted to be part of the splash screen, so people sent me money to send to them, and I made a second payment in July 2015.
The artist in question kept sandbagging me, saying they were working on the project. 2 yrs passed, and there was little to no movement but I kept getting sandbagged. By 2018, the artist stopped responding entirely and closed their sites, only to open a patreon where you have to be a partron to even contact them.
I've had a few friends who know them still contact the artist, only to be sand bagged as well, and their latest excuse is "I don't take money up front."
Well, they did in 2015, and I want to find a copy of the bills to prove it to them, or at least get the money back of the dozen people involved in this BS.
