Hello,
I am preparing to travel from the USA to South Africa in a couple months for business. I have a Paypal Cash Card and someone told me I could load USD onto it and then use it in South Africa and it will automatically switch over to South African rands, and I could use the card like normal there. Is this true or steps I can take to load the money I will use for the trip onto this card and use it?
Thanks!

There is a 2.5 percent foreign transaction fee for transactions outside the US with the Cash debit card. Here is a PayPal link with these details for the Cash card.

PayPal does offer a credit card with no foreign transaction fees. Here is a link for that card if you're interested.

Before you leave, definitely call PayPal debit card support and tell them of your travel plans, so they can enter a note on your account.
