Build a integration to PayPal Settlement API for automatic bookkeeping of payouts

Hi!

We're a SaaS platform allowing ecom merchants to connect their ecom platforms, payment providers, bookkeeping software etc. to gain 360 degrees insight and automate manual processes like bookkeeping etc.

We're currently looking into integrating PayPal as an acquirer, to allow merchants that uses PayPal in their payment gateway, to have sales through PayPal bookkept automatically. For us to do so, we need to also be able to link the payout from the settlement to the order in our system. This is pretty straight forward, but in order to do so, we'll need to integrate to PayPal Settlement API, for merchants to connect up, and us to be able to gain insight into their settlement and the payouts within.

I have a hard time finding a proper answer on the availability to do so, and I hope someone in here are able to help, as I have tried reaching out to PayPal support and sales with no luck.

Thanks in advance,

Good day @GSativa,

Thank you for posting to the PayPal community.

To track your sales more efficiently please refer to  Transaction Search API or SFTP report feature. This allows you to access your reports through a secure FTP connection, providing you with an alternative method to track your sales.

By utilizing either the Transaction Search API or the SFTP report feature, you can have a more comprehensive and reliable overview of your sales data. This will help you make more informed decisions and better manage your business.

If you still facing the issue, please create a MTS ticket via - https://www.paypal-support.com/s/?language=en_US  with the detailed information and error details.

Sincerely,

Vaishnavi
