Don't want to accept American Express

I would like to know if there is an option somewhere in my account that will allow me to deny American Express.  I have been reading that the fees charged when accpeting AE are higher and I don't want to pay those fees.

Can someone please point me in the right direction here.

Thank you!

Hi DaizBlue,

Welcome to the forums!

The only way to block American Express payments would by to not accept the Commercial Entity agreement. If you have already accepted it, you would have to wait for the next agreement to be sent, and decline to accept it then.

The one factor I would like to point out is that limiting your payment options also limits your customer base. Even though it costs a little bit more to do business via American Express, removing that option means turning away potential buyers. You certainly should do what's right for your business, but it's something to consider.

I hope this helps!

We do want to accept
American Express again but I can't figure out where the terms are to do this.  We received NO messages in advance of the Oct dates that out Amex processing would be cut off.
