How do i setup a direct deposit?

Okay, heres the deal. I have a Paypal account. It used to be attached to my bank account, but i closed that bank account, and for a while, Paypal was just a stand-alone account for me. I made money from Ebay, which went to my Paypal account, and thats how it worked for me.

Now I have my Paypal account connected to my E*trade brokerage account, and i guess that acts like a bank account, in which Paypal has the authority to take funds when needed from the E*trade account, and i can pull funds from the Paypal account when needed.

What i want to know is this: Is it possible to setup, through my employer, a direct deposit to Paypal, in where my checks would be directly deposited into my Paypal account? No going through banks or what have you.

If so, how?

It would be convenient to be able to have my paycheck directly deposited in to my account and I have been trying unsuccessfully to find the answer to that exact same question, too.  I have also been unsuccessful in locating an answer anywhere on Paypal's website nor can I find a way to contact a live person to answer the question!  It would be nice to be able to get some response in a timely manner.  I guess what we'd need is an account and routing number from Paypal for our accounts ... can't find any information on that either.

It's possible if your employer has a paypal account and is willing to use 'Send money" to send it to you.

I haven't met any employers yet that are thrilled with the idea, though.
