Void UPS Shipping Label--Do you get a refund?

My husband printed off a shipping label for UPS. Today when we went down to the UPS store to ship it they were closed and since we were in a rush and on our way out of town didn't really have time to sit there and wait for them to open. (For some reason there were no hours posted on the door.)

I told him that there was a way to request a refund on shipping labels if you do it within 24 hours of printing. He went online and I don't know if he actually read anything or what, but next thing I know he's yelling at me because he's out 30 dollars for the original label.

My question is is there a refund when you void a UPS shipping label? Or is he really out the money and I'm going to get the silent treatment for the rest of the weekend?

Hello I had the same problem only only my label did not print but they still charged me as if it printed.

I voided immediately and then went into Ebay to print off the same label, that printed fine but it seems we are both in the same boat. Because I voided the label nothing seems to show that I did.

After reading the forum messages for the first time, seems that Paypal do not really look after their customers.

I am going to try and ring them and see that they say.  If for some reason they give me something useful, I will post back to you.

Did your husband use the VOID Tab to void the label? You must do this within 24 hours of printing off the label.

They are saying that refunds can take 14-21 days to show up in your account.

If your husband did not use the VOID tab within the time frame, then you may have to please your case with them personally. But if did, then wait the allotted days and see if it turns up, if not, then let all **bleep** loose.
