I'm with you guys... why is it that paypal can instantly send money for an item but, to get a refund back it takes so long..I understand the payment from the debt card has to clear to be reversed but , come on does it take 10 days after it clears... are you paying interest on that money for 10 days??? I just bought a $200 item and got a refund.. put me out another $200 for the purchase of another item ... so I'm out $400 for a $200 item till Paypal decides to transfer the money back at their will???
If the seller doesn't have the funds in their paypal account, the refund will not be instant.
The refund will have to come from the sellers bank account, that usually olny takes 2-5 days (usa), but if the debit fails they will try a second time, and that can drag it out to around 10 days or longer.
It sounds like debit drom the sellers bank might have failed the 1st try
