Cancel an echeque that is uncleared??

hey i recently purchased tickets for an event next weekend and the seller has stated that they will forward the tickets once payment has cleared - the only problem is that the payment wont clear until the 10th September - which is the start of the event.  so by the time the sender posts the tickets the event will be over!  i know this is my fault but is there anyway of me cancelling my echeque payment and paying with credit card so that the transaction happens instantly??

I would like to cancel a pending e-Cheque to a customer, I have paid this customer today by Paypal  for the full amount but the account still reads e-cheque pending how can I stop payment being made for the second time.

Hi guys,

you can't cancel an eCheque that you sent yourself in the same way that you can't cancel a completed payment. However, your seller could refund it from their end and you could send a new payment using a card (for example).

The only problem with this is that the first payment will still be taken from your bank and will then be credited to your balance when it clears through.

Keep in mind that you can always check where the payment is being sourced from before you complete it on the 'payment review' page.

I got 3 times echeque payment but every time it has cancelled .. why it is happening. Is there any problem in my or my clients paypal account..?
