Ive used my paypal account to buy some new golf clubs recently, however when they arrived they were clearly counterfiet. The seller will only refund if i send back the items to China!! imagine the postage, which would be at my cost!! Ive since raised a dispute and subsequent claim, however i still cant get my money back either from paypal or the seller. What the **bleep** can i do? anyone else had this problem?
Ive got a letter from a pga pro confirming the clubs are fake and ive forwarded it onto paypal, still no joy,i feel like the criminal!!
I WANT MY MONEY BACK BUT IM NOT SENDING OUT THE FAKES TO BE RESOLD TO SOME OTHER POOR UNFORTUNATE!! GRRR!!

Hi and sorry for the problems you are experiencing between the seller "In China" and with PayPal. Have you just communicated to PayPal via email if so, then you need to call Customer Service directly to get any type of real help...I have used Customer Service only by calling and speaking with a representative...that is the only way to go. I dont trust people who sell counterfeit items period....but you may have only one choice AFTER TO TALK TO A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE is to return the clubs to China and let Ebay or PayPal go after them. Just call first and find out (get their first name, last name, and extension) how this can be handled by PayPal.
I wish you luck and sorry for the counterfeit clubs you bought....a word of caution though...dont buy from Asian countries period..as you never know what you are going to get also they have a habit of disappearing once the sale is done...just keep that in mind in the future and check their feedback if selling on Ebay feedback will tell you alot about a seller.
Sincerely,
Kristen

I had to return a fake I- Pod to Puerto Rico at the advice of Customer Service. Fortunately, I mailed with a confirmation # because of course seller maintained she never received it. Paypal reimbursed me. The other downside besides ther loss of shipment $, was that I noticed about a month later that the same seller was still on ebay scamming away. I reported her, but frankly, I think ebay should have caught that. Sorry about the clubs!

Hey all, all your stories sound pretty bad, and it is true that no matter the item or the amount spent, it is always horrible to feel that you have been ripped off in some way. There is the “not as described” option on PayPal. But if you have received an item, and it is counterfeit, please do make that clear to us when you open the claim. That way we can request some information from you to confirm that the item received is counterfeit, but also, that confirmation can be used against the seller. This would allow us to take some serious action against them. Thanks guys.
