A phisher masking as one of my finance colleagues emailed asking for me to do a paypal payment (as a friends&family gift). Fwded the receipt to my colleague as requested and he responds saying all employees have been targeted by a phishing attack.
My stupidity aside, this only happened a few minutes ago and I'm in the queue with Paypal's help line. Is there any chance of getting it back. Should I phone my bank to stop the payment and accept I'll lose my Paypal account with it?

Son of a gun, Paypal reversed the whole transaction in a matter of minutes. Guess the account was already under suspicion?
