Invoice got cancelled!! Where is my money?!

I recently ordered something, today I check my email and it says that the invoice was canceled by the company I bought it from!! So where is my money that was took from my banking accout?! I'm so confused because the company didn't tell me anything other than it got canceled. PLease, If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated!

Was the payment pending before being cancelled?

What does it say next to the transaction in your paypal account?

All I see is -27.00 then it says transaction/invoice cancelled March 6 by the company.

No the payment was took once I hit pay on PayPal. I checked my bank statement soon after.

When you pay a seller it is never instant > paypal credit the seller for you and then start the process of uploading your funds to paypal from your funding source.

This is done so you get your item more quickly.

So when you cancel that payment or it is cancelled those funds can't do a u-turn > they have to process through to paypal who will then either return them to your funding source (if you paid with a debit or credit card), or credit your paypal balance (if it was funded from your balance or instant bank transfer), but that takes a few days and sometimes up to a week.

I used a debit card. Ok so I should just wait a few days or a week?
