Payment on hold. Account gone into minus.

So there is a late payment into my paypal which says its on hold. But now my account has gone into minus although i never max out my paypal. I dont understand what has happened as i never received the full payment and now its been withdrawn.

I'm sorry to hear what has happened here. If you have sent a payment through your account and there is a negative balance on PayPal, this may be due to the payment being refused by your bank. 

If there have been any refused payments, you would have received an email from PayPal advising what has happened here. Can you please check your emails as well as the transaction activity on your PayPal account as this will give you some more information on what has happened here.
