I got sent an item that was not as described so I sent it back to the return address on the box (the same as the one the seller messaged me with) I returned it with tracking which shows it has been signed for. The seller is not responding on PayPal to confirm he has got the item back and is ignoring all communication from PayPal. They are now saying if he doesn't respond in 3 days they will close the case. So I will be left with no item and no money, this was an expensive purchase and I am a 20 year old apprentice on a low wage. What can I do ??

Have you provided Paypal with the tracking number to prove you returned the item back to the seller and its been received?

Yes but because it’s not the same as the PayPal one they can’t issue a refund. It is the same as the return address and the sellers requested address though.
