Hi I made a purchase with matalan by paypal but returned the items to store where they did a paypal refund. Does this go back to my palpal account or my card that is linked to paypal which they took the original money from. Also how long does it take for a refund to be processed? Thank you

If you paid using your PayPal Account Balance or Bank Account, the refund is credited back to your PayPal Account Balance. Times can vary for many reasons, it can take from 1 day to several days depending on the funding source used by the party doing the refund.

If you paid using a credit card, the refund is credited back to that card. That process can take up to 2 weeks for the credit to appear on your card statement.

If you paid using a prepaid type card, the refund is credited back to that card however, as many cards are not reloadable, you have to contact the card issuer for assistance with getting the credit reapplied to the card.

Thank you, I paid with palpal which draws the money from my bank account so presumably it will go back into my paypal account and then I just have to transfer back to my bank account. Hopefully it won't take too long to appear in my paypal acct.

How long does matalan take to refund a PayPal payment. Its been 10 days 2 phone calls and I still haven't got it!

I returned 2 items worth £30 2 weeks ago & still no refund or proper reply from Matalan. I have opened a PayPal case as Terrible customer service - I won't be buying from Matalan again.
