I bought £100 of love2shop vouchers on the 14th november and have never received them,ive asked for a refund numerous times but no joy.Seller has now told me that someone has been using his bank account without his knowledge and hes no money and the account has been closed!! Hes told me to open a case against him but its not letting me it says the items arent covered or something.Ive contacted paypal and ebay but had no joy there either.Im out of pocket by £104.24p and i need that money back,he shouldnt be allowed to get away with this!!! Can anyone help me please?
Hi there, you can open a case on eBay or PayPal. But those cases will close. Vouchers and coupons are not covered under eBay or PayPal Buyer Protection. They are classed as “intangible”, as there is no value in the item itself i.e. the card or letter. What’s at issue is the value attached to the item.
Do open a case on PayPal or eBay, you may wish to also consider contacting your bank or card issuer in relation to any action that can be taken outside of PayPal/eBay.
