I recently had to cancel a payment for something I bought on ebay as the seller had made a mistake with the email address on their paypal account. So now the cancelled payment is sitting somewhere in paypals vaults ! what happens to it next ? When will it be transfered in to my paypal account or back in to my bank account ?
I've contacted the seller, who has provided me with their email address to send on the funds, it was a simple spelling mistake on their part. Only other thing is that now ebay says I have still to pay for the item and when I tried to pay via ebay again it was going to send to the same paypal account - which lists the account as not being a paypal account.
I've paid directly to the seller via paypal and their correct email address and th payment has gone through. It's the same name on the paypal account as on the ebay account and as it is not for a large amount I'm not overly concerned about paying directly as the seller would also have accepted a cheque.

Yes a strange name for my log in here - but every other variaton of user names I use elsewhere was taken and in frustration I used this one !
