refund problems

Hi their 

I have ordered somthing from argos, didnt like it and returned it. I paid through paypal. Argos has refunded the item to paypal. I received an email from Paypal confirming the refund. HOWEVER IT IS STILL NOT SHOWING ON MY BALANCE. ITS BEEN EXACTLY 2 WEEKS. WHAT SHALL I DO  ?

If you funded the original paypal payment to the seller with a debit or credit card then it won't go back to your paypal balance.

Once marked as completed it will automatically go back to your bank account or credit card but takes up to a week to process through to the bank and a bit longer for a c.c.

i ACTUALLY PAID THROUGH PAYPAL, THEN RECEIVED EMAIL FROM PAYPAL THAT ARGOS REFUNDED. BUT I KEEP CHECKING MY ACCOUNT BALANCE AND STILL NO REFUND 

WHAT SHALL I DO ?

Re-read my post above, I know you paid with paypal but did you FUND that paypal payment with a debit or credit card????

Because if you did then it won't go to your paypal balance it will go back to your card but takes up to a week to go back to your bank account and a bit longer to go back to a c.c.

If you funded it with instant bank transfer then come back and say.

Then check your bank statement as it would have automatically gone back there.

I have checked, infact i check everyday, but no sign of refund going back to the account

Paypal is an american firm so they call debit cards and credit cards all credit cards.

Secondly it takes about a week to go back to your bank account but it may be delayed as we have had a bank holiday.....but it will go back there.
