Hey ! so i'm trying to get a summary of how much money I've sent to a specific name in Paypal ( service ) . i did find a way to sum up all the transactions with that name in a year ( 2021 ) , but it's 435 transactions , and I cannot manually add up the amounts of money in order to find the total.

Is there a way I can do that via the reports or statement in Paypal?

Hey there @ObieDaz,

That's a great question and I definitely see the benefit with that many transactions!

There is a way to request a download of your financial summaries or reports, but this feature is only available within the PayPal site to customers to users with a Business account. If you have a Business account, you can refer to this Help Center article. Some information may have been recently updated, so I will list the steps for the new PayPal Business Interface.

Here's how to access your financial reports from a PayPal Business account:

  1. Go to "Reports," under the "Activity," tab of the PayPal home screen
  2. Select "All Reports," and select the needed statement type.

Here are the steps to help with your specific question, @ObieDaz,

To create a customer activity report from a PayPal Business account:

  1. Go to "Reports," under the "Activity," tab of the PayPal home screen
  2. Select "All Reports," and select the needed statement type.
  3. Select "Activity Download," as the report type.
  4. Click on "customize report fields." You can enter contact info for specific buyers or contacts in your PayPal account.
  5. Select file type.
  6. Select "Create Report."

If you have a Personal account, you can follow the steps listed here.

I hope this answers your question!

Have a great day and thank you for being part of the PayPal Community.
