I finally figured out how to generate a CSV of last year's transactions for a personal account, and received the email saying it was ready ... but it is nowhere to be found. The link in the email goes to the Home page, with no indication where to look for it. I looked everywhere I thought it might be.
I feel like I went through the same hassle last year too but don't remember how I finally found it. I'd appreciate any suggestions!

If you've received an email notifying you that your CSV of last year's transactions is ready but can't find it, here are some steps you can take: 1. **Check Email Content:** Review the email carefully. Sometimes, the email itself might contain information on where to locate the CSV file or instructions on how to access it. 2. **Login to Your Account:** Log in to your PayPal account and navigate to the "Activity" or "History" section. Transaction history and download options are often found there. 3. **Transaction Download Option:** Look for a "Download" or "Export" option within your transaction history. PayPal typically provides the ability to download transaction history in different formats, including CSV. 4. **Search in Different Sections:** If you can't find it in the main transaction history, explore other sections or tabs in your PayPal account. The layout might vary, but the download option is generally located in a section related to transaction history or statements. 5. **Check Notifications:** Sometimes, notifications or alerts within your PayPal account may guide you to the location of recently generated files. Look for any notifications related to the CSV export. 6. **Contact PayPal Support:** If you still can't locate the file, consider reaching out to PayPal customer support. They may be able to provide specific guidance on where to find the exported CSV file. Remember to be cautious and avoid clicking on any suspicious links in emails. Always access your PayPal account directly through the official website or app.
