HI,
I'm an online retailer in the UK using GBP
I use the financial summary report each month to do my accounting.
Up until recently the only amounts that would appear in
Transfers and Withdrawals : Currency Transfers : Credit
were refunds I would get on my international wholesale purchases.
Shopify recently added a feature so that international customers can see prices and check out in their own currency.
These transactions do not appear in the sales activity : payments received
where all my sales have appeared up until now. They appear in the currency transfer instead.
My issue is that now these purchases are mixed with the odd refunds I receive. There doesnt seem to be a way of seperating them which I need to do.
If I dont 'refunds' will be accounted for as sales!
TO make it harder the amounts listed in paypal are the amounts after the currency conversion and the fee is taken off. Making it difficult to match them quickly with the sales in the shopify dashboard which only have the GBP figure.
I've tried exporting the data but it doesnt help.
Does anyone know a simple way to separate the sales in the currency transfers figures from the refunds?
Thanks
